Akinyeye observed that the Show which was once attended by great celebrities and mentors such as Korede Bello and a recipient of several awards including the Laureate in child talent development, ran successfully for 10 editions bringing to limelight kids with talents and emphasized on the fact that all kids are talented, and they only needed an environment to further project and encourage the talents.
According to her, “The show serves as platform where children between the age group 4-13 years, display their talents, go through the process of registration, auditions and finally engaging their talents at the grand finale for the world to see. When we talk about undiluted and raw talents, do you know where they are deposited? Check out children, they have so much in them and only need an environment to showcase the stuff they are made of. The talents are everywhere, both in the slum and the cities. It’s just about providing an enabling environment and the right morale for them to excel.”
She said the organisers have lined up several programmes and activities to engage the children next year, stressing that there are many talented children in the country.
