The Acting Director General of the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE), Dr. Vincent Onome Akpotaire has commiserated with a former Director of the Bureau, Sir Alwell Onyebuchi Ibeh on the death of his mother, Ezinne Mary Nduaka Ibeh who died on September 10, 2016 at the age of 87 years.
In a condolence letter to the former director on behalf of the staff and management of the Bureau, Akpotaire said as a member of the BPE family, “we feel deeply touched by her death, and share with you and your family this moment of grief”.
The letter reads in part:”We convey to you, on behalf of management and staff of the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE), our condolences on the news of the death of Mama, Ezinne Mary Nduaka Ibeh, who transited to glory on Saturday, September 10, 2016.
“As a member of the BPE family, we feel deeply touched by her death, and share with you and your family this moment of grief.
“However, we take solace in the fact that Mama lived a worthy life and raised eminent Nigerian children as exemplified by your distinguished service to the Bureau and the Federal Republic of Nigeria”.
According to a statement issued by BPE’s Head, Public Communications, Alex Okoh, the Acting DG prayed God to give the former Director and the entire Ibeh family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss even as he also prayed that her soul rests in peace.
Meanwhile, a burial programme has been released by the family for the late Ezinne Mary Nduaka Ibeh.
According to the programme signed by the former director on behalf of the family, the Service of Songs/Wake Keep for the deceased would hold on Thursday, October 27, 2016 while lying in state, funeral service and interment would hold on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 10 am in the Family Compound, Amaobu-Aja, Eluama in Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State.
