Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL), on Wednesday, reported a decline of 15.35% in its domestic sales to 44,022 units in January 2022. The company had sold 52,005 units in January 2021.
Hyundai Motor India exported 9,405 units in January 2022, a growth of 16.1% from the 8 100 units exported in the same month in 2021.The cumulative sales were at 53, 427 units in January 2022 compared to 60,105 units in January 2021. Total sales declined by 11.11 %, it added.
Overseas shipments of the model grew 26.17 per cent year-on-year over 2020 when it had dispatched 25 995 units. In total, the automaker noted that it exported 42,238 SUVs last year.
