The Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) at the weekend successfully discharged 13,000 tonnes of LPG to Lagos Jetty as part of measures to curtail reported scarcity across the country.

A statement issued by NLNG’s General Manager (External Relations), Kudo Eresia-Eke, explained that the vessel is scheduled to return to NLNG’s facility in Bonny to re load, noting that “NLNG continues its efforts to ensure adequate supply and price stability to the market.”

NLNG had recently explained that its dedicated LPG vessel has been unable to discharge LPG at the Apapa port since 29th December 2016 “due to jetty unavailability, resulting in temporary product shortages in the market”.
